Our History
Third World Education was founded in May 2018 with a clear mission: to deliver high-quality, Christ-centered education to students from third-world countries through a fully online platform.
From its inception, Third World Education was established as a Christian school with a warm, family atmosphere. Our curriculum is intentionally Christ-centered and academically rigorous, with Christ as the foundation of every subject and every aspect of the educational experience.
During our first five years, we partnered with several orphanages in Haiti, offering a bilingual English/French program for students in grades 7 through 12. Thanks to the generous support of donors, we provided tuition-free education, hired qualified licensed online teachers, and successfully graduated over 100 students with accredited high school diplomas. Many of these graduates also achieved strong scores on the SAT.
Although we experienced significant growth during those early years, rising tensions and instability in Haiti made it necessary to pause our Haiti program starting in the 2024 school year.
This fall, we aim to reopen enrollment for our Haitian students once we meet our financial goals.
